Cactus Game Design Message Boards

Hello all,

I know this is extremely last-minute, but Bill Voigt (Everytribe) and myself will be running a Redemption Mini Camp (emphasis on mini; I don't expect more than about 10 kids) at my church, Cross of Christ Community Church in Lakeville, MN, next week. The camp will run from 1-4pm from Monday-Thursday.

We would really love to get at least one or two more experienced players to help us teach the kids how to play. Most of the kids coming have been receiving 1 card a week in Sunday School for the last year, and they are now excited to receive starter decks and learn how to actually play the game.

We are also not limiting the camp to elementary age kids; so if you are a middle school or high school student in the Twin Cities area looking to learn or for other people to play with, now is your chance!

Please send me a PM if you are interested and available to come as a volunteer or as a camper.

Hey people!

Even if you can't volunteer, I am looking for a few other things for camp:

-If you are able, I would love 30-60 second videos of people saying what they love about redemption, how it has helped you or affected your life, what your fave cards are, etc. I would like to turn them into montages to show during camp to get the kids excited about the game. Email videos to britta.maly@gmail.com. 

-I am also looking for examples of cards with abilities that closely match the Biblical story that inspired them (think Hosea captures Gomer scenarios, but more kid-friendly). I am looking for examples from Priests and earlier sets.
