I agree, and actually the fact that the set was released in printings, and the 1st printing had so many errors in it, I think really was a great thing because it added a much-needed dimension of rarity, and therefore interest, to those 1st printing cards (especially the ones whose special abilities were changed).
This is just on top of the TEC cards already being really good! The clay brigade seems to be a creative and solid new brigade that should be competitive right away, and many support cards for other brigades/themes are very helpful, too. (ex: Abandonment, and the fruit of the Spirit cards)
In the future, as people have said in the past, I think that intentionally having rarity as a big factor in packs adds to the overall excitement of a set, and just trickles down from increased sales to increased trading, more fun deck building, and more interest in playing.
