I want to compile a list of what makes a Brigade desirable. Here is what I can think of:
For Good:
-CBN banding
-FbtN Hero
-CTB Hero
-Recursion Hero
-Play-first
-Pre-block Ignore
-CBN battle-winner
-*/1 Hero
-Territory Destruction
-Big Hero with some sort of Protection
-Plenty of drawing
For Evil:
-FbtN EC
-Play-first
-Wide-scope Immune or Protected EC
-Recursion
-CBN Battle-winner
-1/1 EC
-CBN banding
-An EC safe from AotL/Grapes
-Thad counter (citation needed)
-Way to stop CBN bands.
-Chump Blockers
Anything else?

I would consider cards that easily transition to other strong brigades as well.
-
I'm not for the purposes of this list. I'd like to identify specifically what makes people say "Red/Silver is weak" or "Teal is strong."

Searching.

ANB
-
Deck stacking and draw. Maybe FBTN.

I enjoy fun combos that annoy people. :P I think it has a lot to do with support cards, like DaA or Hidden Treasures or Judges Seat. Just boosters to the base color.
-
For evil cards, evil characters that can end battles all by themselves (Entrapping Pharisee, Egyptian Warden, King Zimri, etc.) is a big plus in my mind.
Also consider neutral cards that go well with a brigade, such as Herod's Dungeon with Herods.

I disagree with this thread as the game is no longer about what brigade you use and more about what theme or sub theme you are using.
