Title: using sites in a battle

I recently got the ends of the earth site in a booster pack and it seems that it needs to be used in battle. I am not sure how that works, if someone could let me know it would be a big help.

Empty sites can be put into battle to gain access to sites that match the brigade of the site put into battle.  Ends of the Earth has to return to battle (and thus the heroes if they do not have access by some other way lose access) if no new testament heroes are in battle.
