Cards that let you add a "second" character just mean to add an "additional" character. Most, if not all, such cards have a "Play As" that says so.

So in short, yes, you can add a third as a "second".

+1 100%.

well banding is a hard deck to get initative for cause the point of banding is to always have the higher numbers (well to me it is) but if you use sadducees then your ganna have alot of truble getting initative and musicians its ok its not easy to get it

Austin

I don't understand at all what this has to do with his question.

Big banding decks are supposed to be all about negates; assuming you use red, make sure you have:

The Battle is the Lord's
Counsel of Abigail (unbelieveably useful!)
Holy Ground
The Might of Faith (not necessary, but great for cards like King of Tyrus)
Covenant of Noah (as an artifact of course)
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

Since the original question deals with adding a "second" hero, I think it is safe to say he's just starting out. The only cards that say "second" are from the early sets. Back in the day, banding was the dominant force.

Nowadays, banding is still a major force in Booster Draft and in thwarting most battle winners (i.e. convert, capture, discard).

yup you have the following bands for good brigades

White Brigade:
The Garden Tomb Band (this also involves a green and blue character and as a unneeded thing a red character but I don't use the red)
Musician bands (Bubble boy pwns with this)
I play those two above ^^
Daniel band (decent but a bit unuseful now)

Red Brigade:
A monstrous 5-8 card band that is almost unstoppable (KoT and the likes kill it so do cards that love having initiative and d/c all cards in battle schemes)

Silver:
A few Random cards such as seraphim and Saph not really a banding brigade

Blue:
I believe that some of the Genesis characters band also you have Jacob who bands to a Angel (jacob and Captain of the Host is a popular combo)

Green:
I have no idea since I have never played it  :)

Purple:
Elisha/Elijah maybe a few others has enh's like unified kingdom which can create monster bands

Teal:
A nice little 3-4 card band pretty fun to play...teal=powerhouse

now for the Evil brigades:

Black:
Monster band of Sadduccees does decent
Pharissees I think are decent but mainly another color on down
Greeks oh the fun my probably favorite defense aesomely OP'd and mix it with some orange  ;) fun never ceases

Gray:
Here is where you have a pretty large band of Syrians/Pharissees (I play syrians not alot of banding but some)

Orange:
Greeks are all I can think of you have a bunch of half one color and half orange that bands with most anything out there theme wise

Gold:
Monster annoying ANNOYING (did i mention annoying) banding and deck d/cing very strong defense but has flaws

brown:
Never played brown

and thats most the banding (list the ones i havent please)

You don't need musicians to band unless you are using a musician deck. (How can you spell it right in your posts...but not your user name?)

Well, Musicians eh? My favorite musician offense is basically this:

The 5 elemental Musicians (I think you know who they are)
  Burning Bush
  Cymbals of the Levites
  Sing with Stringed Instruments
Angel at Shur
  Protection of Angles

Musicians are a lot like red brigade in that they're basically all about big bands (one in particular) and negating/protecting against everything your opponent plays, although unlike Red they are very petit, and extremely effective. My favorite! ;D A few other nice cards with this theme would be Undefiled and Covenant of Noah, to continue the negate theme. Personally though, I like big defenses, so I would make the offense as small as possible.
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.

Hey Caleb, don't forget Philistine banding for Black+X (X=every other brigade)

Two other banding chains that absolutely got pushed out the window this year: Panic Demons & Obsidian Minions. (They were never really that good to begin with, but they were a whole lot of fun if one got bored. Now, they are not even that fun! :()

lol another good band lol *winks* lol rofl XD are leigons lol a grey birgade band lol  :rollin: lol dont use them cause you can put up to four in a deck but when one dies they all go kapute lol
........

Good brigades for banding are, pretty much anything that can band lol. But when you build a banding deck you need to know how to support your characters. This is one reason why WA class banding decks are so popular, its because you dont have to worry about enhans but only about getting more and more characters!
3 Prophets Packs ftw

Yeah, you can't have a banding deck (that is, a deck in which the strategy is based on banding) in just any brigade.
Use the Mad Bomber to rescue his Province.
