Given that Doomed Conspirators is 67, and if TPC is heavy on offense (mostly clay) like TEC was, I don't imagine the set will be more than 80 or 100 cards (unless there's more evil than I expect, haha). If the cards are in hodgepodge order like TEC it's hard to say, though.

Of course being called The Persecuted Church I would like to expect it to be somewhat defensive heavy as a set, especially after an offensive heavy set like TEC. But I don't really know.

But now to my analysis, assuming there is a non random order to the cards:
Christ's Triumph is 11.
Created by Christ is 47.
The Foretelling Angel is 51.
Eleazar, son of Aaron is 53.
Doomed Conspirators is 67.

In both Disciples and TexP the order was: Red, Gold, Green, Blue, Purple, White, Silver, Teal, Crimson, Gold Evil, Pale Green, Black, Brown, Gray, Orange. If TPC follows the brigade order (with the addition of Clay somewhere before Silver), we can expect Doomed Conspirators to be near the beginning of the evil cards (depending on how many Crimson characters there are). Also Christ's Triumph is an interesting card, because in Disciples fully multicolored cards were at the beginning, which could mean a number of multicolored and dominants, or probably more likely they've just put artifacts near the beginning.

Of course all of this speculation is meaningless if the order is random, but it looks too ordered to be random to me for that.

There's definitely a method to the order. Sometimes Rob decides later in the testing process to add more cards to the set. This causes them to be put on the end, outside of the normal order of cards in the set.

Only the frequency of Daniel cards on top of your deck.

And the hand limit itself.  Still can't have more than 16 cards in hand at a time.

It's a little harder to order the top of your deck without an ability like laver that gates has access to.

Here's what you do, make a deck with mostly Daniel cards.

Draw Foretelling angel and Bronze Laver on turn 1. Play Angel, draw until you hit a non-daniel card. Use Bronze laver to cycle past that card, and continue drawing.

Be sure to include WWaW and Angelic Guidance. Those will help you get The Foretelling Angel quickly and shuffle your deck when you get stuck on a non-Daniel card.

Just think about lost souls manipulation with this guy ouch. You know when do discard the top card of your deck lol, all you need is Iron Pan. For that reason this guy should probably makes things cbn permanently. Or have cbn turn on if top card is not a Daniel card.

It's always interesting to watch discussions evolve on the leaks and watch how similar they are to the discussions among playtesters

The cards being released now are playtest versions.  They have not been finalized yet, unless stated otherwise.  Most will stay the same, though some will have small changes made before publication.

For example, we are contemplating making his ability "You may draw 2 and exchange this card with a Daniel Hero in hand, territory, deck or discard pile. Protect all cards in play, hands, decks, and discard piles from Evil Characters of */X or less. If opponent has a Redeemed Soul, Daniel Heroes ignore all evil brigades with fewer than 2 characters in play. Cannot be negated."

The only thing we are trying to decide on currently is whether to keep him TC or not. I personally think that would make him OP, but Prof U thinks that it's the only way we could make him even have a chance to be in a competitive deck.

auto, thaddeus, and tgt all in one card? sounds like every game breaking part of the game in one! haha daniel may already be the best hero in the game! i do like the idea of a kind of alt auto though for daniel (kind of just my bias because i already love daniel) i gotta say most people are not a big fan of any form of pre block ignoring since it basically cuts a phase out of the game at some players expense and prophets do already have that option anyway super excited for the new set!! i know they are still in their trial by fire
