If you have iniative (mosty this is used when an opponent plays an enhancement to kill you) you can interrupt the battle and place your hero(s) (or however many you want I don't recal the exact wording) into the fortress. When you make a successful RA you get to return one to your territory. That help?

No because it has no evil character in battle to reactivate on.

No, you cannot interrupt, prevent or negate a dominant.

No because it has no evil character in battle to reactivate on.

Clarification:

The Name of the Lord interrupts the kill card, allows the hero to be placed on it, and grants all heroes on it protection. This means they cannot be targeted by the kill card when the interrupt ends. There is still an evil character in battle for it to reactivate on, but its target is no longer available.

He said when it comes back from the fortress.

it's like like wrath of Satan against Miraculous Handkerchiefs the ability is delayed and once WoS leaves play it no longer affects anyone so you can deactivate MH and none of your heroes are discarded

When he hero comes back from the fortress, the kill card has already finished activating, had no target, and is in the discard pile. Its not "delayed" until anything comes back.

He was implying it would reactivate. It is easier to explain something from the other persons point of view, it has the same end result.

If he is implying something that is incorrect, just tell him and explain it the correct way. No need to confuse him by saying it "reactivates but there is no ec left."
