Title: Teal Decks and The Gates of Hell
Post by: Carl deuty on September 28, 2009, 11:14:15 PM
I had two questions; I know that a lot of people love to use teal decks, but how do you all use them effectively if you can not rescue The Female Lost Soul and The N.T. Lost Soul?

Second Question, what is the upside to the new evil fortress, The Gates of Hell,- At any time you may discard the bottom card of deck. If it is a ls or an orange demon, place it in your territory instead. You may discard this card to add your demon to battle.
What if u discard the bottom card and it is SoG or NJ?

1.  The Woman LS can't be rescued at all, but the NT can.  Priests of Christ as well as Zechariah are NT.  In addition, many teal decks use Purple or other splashes.  Those often add NT heroes as well as Women.

2.  That is part of the risk.  However, orange has A LOT of cards that place cards at the bottom of your deck.  You can use Gates of Hell to bring those cards back quickly.

Also, if Son of God were to be discarded by Gates of Hell, you could always use Angel at the Tomb to get it back.

The most effective use of Gates is to have Laver/Susana to put Demons on bottom. They're safe from territory destruction and TGT does nothing as you can whip two out with Gates and then block.
