like anything else you give up on, once your passion fades it will go awayi don't even have a playgroup and i have been passionate about this game for 2 years now, originally in 2000 i loved the game then but wanted to see it develop more. it's better than ever now!i had a little playgroup of 5 kids and now they have moved away but i still play on lackey. 2 hours away is Dunlap TN where Rex has a great playgroup. you gotta stay persistent, make connections, and approach it from the top down. link up with people who have groups any kind of group start off humble with i/j
Have you tried having a tournament?
Ok sounds good! Yes, tournaments are very fun, but certainly not the only way to enjoy the game!
If your looking for ideas about bringing other players in, its always fun to introduce redemption starter decks to Family Game Nights if you have those at your church. Another idea is to play redemption at local game stores. People always come up and ask me about the game and its a good opportunity to both witness and share the game.
As mentioned above, the two best ways I have wanted to try was:1. Board game night at church, have Redemption there ready to go with I and J.2. Put up a few flyers at the local game store (after talking to them of course) and have a game testing with anyone who is interested. I would have those flyers at church as well.3. Talk to a youth pastor, see if they have any interest or would help support you starting something.
