Stapler cards

We had this discussion, but I'm looking for a slightly different idea:
What do you consider a staple card for the majority of decks (not just yours)?
In other words, what cards should new players pursue for their usefulness?

Uzzah, Chariot of Fire, Unholy Writ, Herod's Temple, and all dominants except Doubt and GotL are some good ones to have.  Oh, and King Manasseh. :)

I don't use a stapler on my cards. It makes them hard to get out of the sleeve.

outside of the 'common sense' staples (doms for the most part), i'd have to say one of the most important is unholy writ...you simply cannot go wrong with it, especially in t1.

I wouldn't say UW is a must. I never use it and I'm undefeated since I started playing in ROOT RNRS (and I only had one loss the month I played Packs). A lot of protection from capture being commonly used limits the usefulness of UW; it doesn't work against: Prophets, Angels, Disciples (you'd be foolish to run Disciples without Blue Tassels), any offense that does even a fair amount of banding (White, Red and Gold), and any deck that has an anti-Capture artifact. I like all the cards in my deck to *never* be dead cards.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

What are you asking for? "Deck staples" or "cards most/all new players should try to get?" If it's the latter then I'll agree that UW falls well within that criterion.

Fact. There is no reason to like Enoch over Job. Fact.

Other than maybe that he's white.

You're bragging about a record that's "not that bad?" Come back with, "I do extremely well with Disciples and no Blue Tassels," and I'll ask you if you've managed to avoid any Herods defenses. If the answer is no, then maybe I'll listen to your theorizing that a Disciples offense can be just as good without Blue Tassels.

I HAD NOAH IN MY DECK TODAY AND I LOST. I ALMOST GOT A NOAH'S SONS BUT WANDERER TOOK IT >:C

Actually, I won every category/every game today if I didn't have Noah in my deck... sadface.

unholy writ is a near staple due to its sheer versatility to fit itself into pretty much every single deck defense feasible. cbi 1for1 instant battle-winner that can hide in your art pile? yeah, sign me up anyday.
