I think that the new gold evil Herod cards are really good but there are no great evil enhancements for them becuase most of the evil gold cards are for the egyptians. Has anyone come up with some way to utilize these wonderful characters, Herod and Herodias, with success?

egyptian spear still works.. besides, if you use ur herod's treachery right, you can use any brigade o:)

I love using Herods. My Herod deck over in the Type 1 deck advice section is the deck ive been using for a while and its worked pretty well so far. Go check it out and tell me what you think.

One of the best things about Herods is they don't really need Enhancements except for Herod's Treachery. Just slap Herod's Treachery on HA2, give him 2kH or Namaan's Horse and Chariot, and play CBN battle-winners of any Brigade. Use Warriors Battle Prayer to recur it if you're forced to use it for it's Withdraw ability.

It is the newest expansion of Redemption, called "Thesaurus ex Preteritus" (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=114)

I tried a Gold/Black(/Crimson) Herod deck...and failed epicly. It could be done though. You could probably combine Herods with Egyptians or with black.

Herod's Dungeon. That's how you use them. Pair them with brown and you can end up capturing a lot of different people.

I tried a Gold/Crimson Herod defense that worked alright. It wasn't amazing but it works.
