This thread is dedicated to listing schools who have pioneered in making Redemption® an official school activity.  Post of PM me if yours is one of them be it a grade/high school, college, or university (include name and City/State/Country/Website Address).

Pray that this might be the beginning of yet another new exciting area of tournament types -- Interschool Tournaments!

Get your school recognized if people play Redemption®.  Organize a Redemption® Club in your school!

FYI: Tournament costs posted on Cactus are wrong ... they are planning to correct the error, but just so you know the costs are $1-2 depending on tournament type!

I want my school to start allowing us to do Redemption play after school for at least 2 hours. That way we can trade cards and play the game. I go to a Christian Academy. How do can I do this?

I disagree.  Don't go straight to the principal.  Talk a teacher into being your Redemption group's sponsor.  They will then work things out with the administration of your school to make it possible, and will also probably provide a place to play (their classroom).

Whoah, I think it's so cool that Redemption is becoming an official event in Christian schools. I hope it spreads. :)

Peace all.  I've moved to revive and make this topic sticky.  I dedicate this topic to one of my nephews, Claude, who had dreamed that one day Redemption would witness the growth of inter-school tournaments.

Please see updates on the first post.

Do colleges count?  We'd compete against other Division 2 schools, right?

My HS would be willing to compete against colleges in Redemption.  In fact, I'll challenge SomeKittens to bring down his college crew whenever he wants and we'll have a tournament of his school vs. mine :)

I'd actually feel pretty good about our chances :)

That was my motivation for starting the Colleges thread, but it seems that everyone's in grad school.  Whadya mean "feel good about your chances?"

I was waiting for his reasoning so I could question his sources and declare his logic absurd.  This being the internet and all.

Grats to Roberts Wesleyan College (Rochester, NY) --- our first college-wide official Redemption club!  Blessings to Randall and company for all your efforts in realizing yet another milestone in Redemption gaming!

We need to know the name of your club adviser so that we can officially post his/her name.  Please PM the name to me.

Peace and Godbless!
