The Plus One Initiative is a collaborative community effort to share the game with new or inactive (min. 1 year) players. Doing this allows us the unique opportunity to share our faith and our passion for the game all at once. The game in its current place in time is uniquely set up for a season of growth and this initiative is our hope in action that the community will band together and spread the news of this wonderful game and ministry tool to capitalize on the current momentum we have. With the latest set releasing that focuses on the life, ministry and ultimate sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, new Starter Decks on the horizon and a community focused on welcoming in new players for the future health of the game, this is the best starting point the game has had for new players in recent years. We cannot reap a harvest where seeds have not been planted, so grab those decks and share the game - share the Gospel!

My good friends John Earley and Tyler Stevens are working together to come up with some amazing prize support for the individual(s) that share the game with the most new players between now and the Mr. Classic tournament which will be hosted in Knoxville, TN in early 2023 (Feb/March). Use this form to submit your name, the name of your Plus One and a photo to serve as proof of your efforts. There is NO LIMIT to the number of entries an individual may submit. If we have at least 30 unique players submit at least one Plus One, it will unlock the top level prize which will be officially announced later along with more details on prizes.

*If you would like to donate anything towards the pool of prizes to reward the community members who run with this initiative and share the game, please reach out to me, John or Tyler. Depending on what all prizes we end up with will determine how many top finishers receive prize support.

This is the Plus One Initiative, not the Multiply From One Initiative LOL. I don’t have enough mental bandwidth to try to keep up with one person learning the game and spreading it further and trace that back to the original person that shared the game, so for ease of tracking, I will say I leave that up to you and the person you shared the game with. Only one person can claim and get credit for each new player, so I’ll leave that up to you and the person you taught to decide who should submit the form for the entry.

But hey, that is fantastic news to hear your efforts led to another person sharing the game with their daughter. Hopefully through this push for new players we have more instances where our efforts are multiplied by the efforts of those we introduce to the game. Excited to see the growth of this game over the next several months!
