This is probably archived somewhere, but l figured l would just ask it.n what is the difference between type 1 and type 2? Does it only matter in tournament play?

(the basic answer, until someone else answers)
Type 1 and Type 2 have different deck construction rules to them and a few additional rule differences beyond that.

Most people just play T1 but I personally like T2 better- it's your choice what you'd like to play though. There are some great articles on
landofredemption.com
about building a type 2 deck and other facets of T2 (as well as lots on T1).
