I can provide Bios of all players nominated thus far.
I said 8, underwood said more, Justin said 4.
I hope that there will be a lot of great nominations, and would suggest that since it's been a few years that we consider entering multiple people for the class of 2017. In the past we always chose both great players and also great people who contributed to the game in other ways. I would suggest doing that again as well. So hopefully we could do 2-3 people in each of those 2 categories.
Jonathan Greeson, and Nathan Voight.

I'm OK with 8, but it does seem a bit high all at once.Quote from: Prof Underwood on August 16, 2017, 06:51:35 AMI hope that there will be a lot of great nominations, and would suggest that since it's been a few years that we consider entering multiple people for the class of 2017. Although there are a lot of people who have been successful both as a player and also contributed greatly to the game, the precedent is for each person to only be nominated in one category or the other based on what they are primarily known for. I suggest that John Earley and Jordan Alstad have both had enough success as players that they are primarily known for that within the Redemption community.
In case John makes it in, "Earley" is spelled with an 'e' and pronounced like "Alstad."
I upvoted all entries, 'cause every name mentioned is worthy of inclusion*--especially since there were no additions to the Hall since 2013.If I had to vote for one and only one, however, it would be for ProfessorAlstad. In addition to the things the Guardian mentioned, it is also worth noting that Prof A is/was also an extremely innovative deck builder. Among many other things he deserves credit (blame) for the first high-level-tournament capable heroless deck, and a T2 deck whose defense was built around Panic Demons.
I thought of one other player that I'd like to nominate ... Clift Crysel (possibly misspelled last name)He has been a top T2 players for a long time, and has also had a lot of success in T1. In addition, he has traveled a lot over the years supporting tournaments all over, and has brought others along with him that he's also brought into the game. I don't think he has any Nats wins yet, but he's been close many times.
