Hossiest Character

Who would you say is the hossiest good/evil person in the O.T./N.T.? Some candidates would be Samson, Shamgar, and Benaiah for good and Goliath for Evil in the O.T., and Paul (bit by a snake and laughed it off), Peter (crucified upside-down by request), or Stephen for good and Barabbas (murderer, revolutionary, and convicted enemy of Rome set free on a technicality) or Nero (played his fiddle while Rome burned) for evil. What do you think?
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

As in being a hoss, I assume.

Samson is way up there. Is there even a Jehu card? If so he's up there.

Yeah, and his strength(toughness?) is how many evil characters are in play.

As for being a hoss in the OT, I gotta go with Samson.  I can't even imagine how you could kill 1000 people with the jawbone of a donkey.

In the NT, I gotta go with John the Baptist.  Wild man in the desert eating locusts and honey.  Rarrrrrr!

For evil OT, I gotta go with Goliath.  I know he lost his most famous fight, but that doesn't mean he still wasn't a hoss.

For evil NT, I gotta go with the demon-possessed man in the Gadarene (Gerasene) region.  Breaking chains, living in tombs.  Rarrrr!

Shamgar. Why you ask? he killed 600 men with a pointy stick(Ox-goad) He wasn't super strong either.

NT's got to be Paul for looking into the face of death a million times.

OT's Goliath

NT's Nero.

NT Evil is definitely the Seven Wicked Spirits possessed guy.

OT Evil is probably Goliath

NT Good is Peter

OT Good is either Asahel or Abishai. Because they're awesome...

Okay. I just made up my mind.

OT Good: Samson. This should be obvious.
NT Good: I'm still pretty un decide. Peter, I guess.
OT Evil: King Sargon II. My european history book told me some disturbing things about him.
NT Evil: Emperor Caius Calilugla.

ok...so not to get off topic terribly or to start an argument, but I had heard that the 1,000 men that Samson killed was a missprint for a lesser but still impressive number when being converted to the English language. I do not doubt the validity of the Bible or the power God has given to his servants, nevertheless it was a Christian source that made the point of mistranslation to counter an athiest saying that 1,000 is physically impossible with a jawbone. As for the suggestions so far I love Nero...setting fire to Rome...then broke out the fiddle. lol

I'm pretty sure my Bible just says "and Samson slew many" or something like that. I don't think there's a number given.

KJV is not the best translation when it comes to specific details. Either way, with all the miracles in the Bible, why were they arguing about how durable a jawbone could be?

athiests will try to invalidate the Bible in any way they can. It really is silly. It was just a point of interest that came back to me. It is funny tho...point out the jawbone impossibility but leave walking on water alone... ;)

In addition to others mentioned, I'd consider:

OT hero: Gideon, Cyrus

OT EC: Pharoah, Nimrod

NT hero: Martha  (funny, when she stood up to Jesus he didn't tell Satan to get behind him ;) )

NT EC: Sapphira
Final ANB errata: Return player to game.
