Shouldn't Melchizedek be a high priest?

no. we don't know much about him, and we certainly don't know if he was a high priest...

if he did that, then he would have to be corrupted. I wonder if he threatened any lives...

Biblically speaking, priests going up to the high places were doing one of two things: worshiping idols, or tearing them down.  See: Josiah.

I think that Melchizedek could have been a form of Jesus or God before all of that. If you look in the Bible it shows symbolic things and notice how he appears every time something good happens.

You'd think though since Jesus is a High Priest from the order of Melchizedek, it shows that Melchizedek was the top guy in that order, which would mean he's a high priest right?

I personally think that Melchizedek was a human myself, but if you're saying that Melchizedek is Jesus, which again I don't think he is.  Then he would be a high priest right?
