Hey all,

Recently found my Redemption cards, and remembered how much fun I used to have playing, and now want to get back into it. I stopped playing around 2011 or so, What have I missed?

It's great to be back, and I cant wait to start playing around with a buddy of mine again!

God Bless,

Ricky

Welcome back!

A quick recap:

There's been 4 new sets and a new starter deck since 2011.
I & J starter deck.
The Early Church
The Persecuted Church
Cloud of Witnesses
Revelations of John

Many players consider Cloud of Witnesses and Revelations of John to be the best two sets ever produced.  :)

The Early Church set introduced a new good brigade (Clay).

In addition to this forum, landofredemption.com is a great place to read articles on new sets, strategies, etc.

We have a great online program for playing Redemption (Lackey)--this can give you the opportunity to learn the new cards without having to own them all.

Lastly, if you can let us know what area you're from, there might be a playgroup or some players near you.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Thanks so much for the recap!!

I am in Southern California. Back when I was playing more regularly, there was a playgroup in the city next to me, which was awesome. Not sure if they are still around, but I will have to do some digging.

Those expansions sound great! I will have to look into some of the singles and see how well they would fit into my Patriarch Blue and Roman Emperor Gray brigade deck!

Ahh thats awesome! I wish I would have found my cards earlier! I unfortunately work this weekend, otherwise I would have been all over it! Are there still playgroups around the LA area?

We meet mostly at my house for games at least once a month for tournaments or just free play. What time do you get off work? We will most likely to be playing all day and into the night. If you can come by even for a little bit it would be awesome. Don't worry about your deck. I can help you get up to date.

Thanks so much for the offer! I will definitely consider it! I'm not sure when work will end, as I'm a manager at a restaurant in Thousand Oaks. If it doesn't work out this week, I will have to make it out another time for sure!
