How do I tell if a card is a promo or not?

Promos are the cards that look like URs that don't have a letter or symbol in the bottom left.

If it's listed on this page (http://www.threelionsgaming.com/cards_promotional_cart.htm), it's a promo card.

Don't most promo cards say promo on it?

Some do, but many (such as NJ, Augustus, Philosophy, the Salvation Army set, and the 10 original promos) don't specifically say they are a promo (though some may have a different, unique identifier).
