Who has ever actually used Goliath's Taunt ability or seen it used?

I have rarely had the opportunity to use Goliath's Taunt ability - And those few times that I have had the conditions met - I haven't wanted to Taunt, simply because the payoff for it isn't high enough for the risk, and typically, these situations happen extremely early in the game, where the opponent could simply decline at no cost.

I was wondering if people had forgotten this ability, or did not see it on the card.

edit: the card that I posted has been changed do to the upgrade of the database. I have removed it because of this.

What are the rules for Taunt? I thought if your opponent declined, you could use the taunt ability. Do you mean your opponent doesn't have any heroes out yet?

And no, I have never seen or heard it used.

I used him from regs to nats, and never once used it. Not that I remembered that it was there...

does his taunt ability happen every time he taunts? and does it work like a hero ability, it happens before the opposition comes into battle if the opposition chooses to do so?

I think Taunt should be redefined to have a little more punch. I cannot recall the exact requirements to make a taunt, but I think it should just be an evil battle challenge, and should have some sort of ability like, "if opponent declines or loses, you may discard a card in opponent's territory" or something like that.

That's pretty much what it is. If your opponent has no souls in territory, you can Taunt, and if you win, you do the Taunt ability.

If only Taunt were somewhere in the REG. Somehow, it's not in there at all, just on the insides of card packs I've long thrown away.

I'm not sure why you shuffled one of his heroes, since the taunt ability is place hero beneath deck.

But they have so many uses!

- Use them as spacers to balance furniture
- Use them to ~~break into~~ let yourself into your home thereby saving your credit cards from damage.
- Use them as a Flowmaster for your bicycle
- Use them to get food particles out of your teeth

They're almost as awesome as the ShamWow!

I used it once, and we had to look at the packs to see how it worked

. I think it needs to be changed to have a little more punch (and more characters with the identifier) before it can be viably used.

You seem to forget that, "if you decline any kind of battle challenge, you lose the battle challenge". So if your opponent declines, you can use the taunt. Says something like that in Disciples packs.
