Card drawing is not more or less dominant that it was last year. Each year more and more players realize that drawing cards is extremely beneficial, and each year they are given more tools that draw cards efficiently. With more card drawing options available more are being played. However, "Speed" as a deck was dead years ago.

If you believe what you read on the boards, last year EVERYONE was playing Disciples. This year EVERYONE is playing some variation of Sam-I-Am, Genesis or Isaiah. The later two draw very few cards compared to the first. So if you believe the hype, card drawing is less popular this year.

You hear that, and then you go to Nats and 15(?) of the top 20 decks are TGT.

I said TGT was the best last year. And I'm saying it's the best again this year. .

TGT is better this year, speed is the same.

I'm going to go 11-0 at nats with my TGT/Red/Royalty/Teal/Sam/Genesis/Disciples deck.

I played a Green/Gold/Teal/Red/Silver (minimum 3 characters each, one enhancement) deck in teams the other day. I drew 20 cards my first turn....but I wanted to add purple...
