Countering "Unstoppable" Cards

Hi, I'm new to Redemption and am trying to figure out reliable ways to counter these seemingly "unstoppable" cards:

1. Cards that convert your character in battle, making it so you no longer can attack/defend

2. Cards that make you withdraw your character in battle, making it so you no longer can attack/defend

3. Cards which underdeck your character in battle, making it so you no longer can attack/defend

4. Cards which ignore your character in battle, which makes it so you can no longer can attack/defend the ignoring character

5. Cards which are/become immune to your character in battle, which makes it so you can no longer can attack/defend the ignoring character

Thanks, I appreciate your help!

All of these can be stopped with cards that say "interrupt the battle and _____________" and can be stopped with cards that Negate the type of card affecting you.

When you are losing the battle by removal, you are granted special initiative to play an Enhancement that will interrupt or negate the card that is causing your charact’s removal. You are considered to be losing by removal when an opponent’s special ability, or a game rule that has been triggered by an opponent’s special ability, would leave you with no character in battle when the special ability has completed.

For example: You are in battle with a hero, your opponent plays a card to underdeck your hero. You now have Special Initiative to play a card to deal with the card casing you to lose the battle.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

the only cards that are "unstoppable" are "cannot be negated" cards. cause you can neither interrupt or prevent

Thanks for explaining that! That really helps. I had thought though that with ignore and immune abilities (which I wouldn't think would be considered cards that cause losing by removal because your character is still in battle, it just can't attack the character that is ignoring or immune to it) can't be negated because they make it so you can't "target" the ignoring or immune character?

It's true you can't target the character but you can negate the enhancements played on them that make them immune/ignore.

Gotcha...so then if it's an ignore or immune character ability, instead of enhancement, then it can't be negated because you can't target the ignoring/immune character? Meaning that ignore/immune characters really can only be defeated by using a special card like an artifact or dominant?

No, negating is not "targeting". You're just negating the ability. If someone attacks with Miriam you cannot block with gold unless you block with a none gold EC and then you can negate Miriam's ability and band in a gold EC. On the flip side, if you attack with Gideon and I block with Abimelech (Pa) you can play Samuel's Edict to negate the ignore.

Ok, I understand! So the way to counter ignore/immune is to use a character that is not being ignored/immune to (because no characters are immune to or ignore ALL opposing characters), and use them to negate the ignore/immune ability.

Thanks a lot!

Ok, I understand! So the way to counter ignore/immune is to use a character that is not being ignored/immune to (because no characters are immune to or ignore ALL opposing characters), and use them to negate the ignore/immune ability.
You can play an interrupt or a negate card on any character in battle to interrupt/negate the immune or ignore. The only requirement is that the character needs to be in battle. So for example, if you make a rescue attempt with  Lydia (a white brigade human hero), and your opponent blocks with Red Dragon (A demon who is immune to humans), you could play Blood of the Lamb (Negate all immune abilities on demons. Discard a demon in play.) to negate the immunity and then discard Red Dragon.

KoalaKingoFA's example was dealing with a special feature of ignore. You are not allowed to bring an ignored character into battle.
