Good to have you back.
Meta shifted away from Samuel more towards Prophets banding. It's rather loosely defined, but we've come to call this "The Deck" because we were feeling uncreative at Nationals.
This was my Nats take on it, and since then I've dropped Samuel. I've dabbled without Daniel, but for the most part it's the same.
Here is Earley's nats take on it. You can see the similarities and kinda do the math for yourself. The Deck uses AutO quite a bit, generally with Moses, but some variations include Gideon or even Samuel. Simeon is awesome, as he can band to...well, pretty much everybody you would want him to except Seraph. Simeon/Jacob to AutO to Moses is pretty epic. Then you can throw those two in a Captain band, in a Daniel band (Simeon/Jacob/Seraph/Daniel/Abednego/Michael), etc. Some people use Gabriel over Michael to pick of those nasty plots, but personally I enjoy the CBN Live Coal and Striking Herod.
Surprisingly enough,
Martin's deck hasn't really been used too much, but every time I use it (or rather, my own, random, take on it) I love it.
Starters are heavily delayed. April was the last projection I heard.
I don't pay attention to rulings...
