New Redemption Grab Bag now includes an assortment of 500 cards from five (5) different expansion sets. Available at Cactus website.
Yep. It’s called Prophecies of Christ. It will be a two-part expansion, this one in November (129 cards) and the other part in May (approx. 93 cards). It will add a new symbol/ability that’s the Star of David (Star symbol). It will allow you to do certain things in your opening hand only.

This helps by keeping the game active in the fall when there hasn't been anything major going on. It also gives players more time to learn and adapt to the new cards before the State, Regional and National tournaments.

It being structured to be activated only during the only hand is very limited. I think more players would have more fun and uses if the conditions were more wide rather than narrow. Triggering just one game if it ever happened to be in your opening hand doesn't seem viable.
If there's no way to manipulate star cards and their only use is to hope you randomly draw them in your opener I'm not a fan. I don't see how the game benefits from a mechanic that, based purely on luck, puts one player ahead of the other right off the bat. I'm hoping to see other cards that have ways of activating star abilities during the game (a Fort that lets them activate when drawn on any turn, a Hero that activates star abilities of all enhancements played on him, etc).
First, there's already a handful of cards that, based purely on luck, place one player ahead of the other from the start of the game. See IaC, AUTO, Samuel, Mayhem, etc.

See IaC, AUTO, Samuel, Mayhem, etc. Those are all cards you can build your deck around getting turn 1. The reason I brought up concern for star cards is not because I think they will be too strong (I haven't seen them so I can't have an opinion on that yet) but because there is literally nothing you can do as a deck builder to influence how effective they are. You just have them in your deck and hope you draw them.

I am guessing their normal ability will still be very useful though.I think the intent is to keep balance in the game, which is good. I think events are more fun when you experience a variety of decks...not just Throne, Throne, Throne, Throne, wait...Flood Survivors?, Throne.
Great another new Moses card. Let the man rest. lol
