Curious on everyone's thoughts about the new ANB dominant - is it a T1 staple? What will the T2 effect be? Will it significantly slow down the speed-deck trend by being able to reset the game if your opponent has a huge card advantage? Will it nerf decks with lots of splash and set-up? Will FBTN(B) reign?

What do you guys think??

Hypocrisy would certainly be an easy way to clean up your territory - you just need at least 1 Flood Survivor. Imo Noah is very splashable in other offenses

I was very excited to abuse this card until I learned of the rule preventing you from rescuing two turns in a row. I think its worth running in a flood survivor deck (maybe not though) but given all its costs (Dom slot, unity, low payoff) I don't think other decks will be splashing Noah and Hypocrisy to run it.

my thoughts are similar to this.. most abusive combos would require the set up decks to maintain their territory somehow.. i don't think children will be formidable as their were last season. playing armor into ram's horn takes unity away.

playing hypocrisy into anb is kind of like playing hypocrisy mayhem on yourself.

at face value this card seems to majorly be playable in a flood survivors list, which seem to be pretty good now. at least on par with other lists like nt white, judges, throne.

i love seeing flood survivors getting more legit tools. i do love playing them but typically i found them to be slightly sub par. really hoping these great new cards make them competitive!!

Flood survivors will be so good that the mere threat of them all but ensures that if you want to do well against them you have to not play a balanced deck (unless you are also playing FS); unless said balanced deck is quick to set up. FS are very quick to set up, and with ANB, they can very easily get two free souls (one at the very start and after ANB drops) since the Noah band can be tricky to deal with in the early game. Philistines do well against them, so they might make a return to form this year. The Canaanite giants also do pretty well.

Note that this was always true (decks that set up more easily tend to do better), but now that a theme has a way to easily reset the game, it will be more important than ever.

Personally I believe 2 copies is really strong but you will have to put your opponent on the clock or the games will time out.

Using both will be tricky since there's only one Green flood survivor.
