Cactus Game Design Message Boards

Hello all, I'm currently working on finally (hopefully) finishing my website within the next month or so and need your help because I didn't play much during the era of these sets.

I need the top 10 best cards from Disciples, TEC, TPC, CoW, RoJ, and now FoM in your opinion.

I also need any new type of cards that were added in each of these sets.

New types of cards introduced:

Disciples - None
EC - Territory Class Characters
PC - none
CoW - cloud cards
RoJ - none
FoM - Cities

Disciples DID introduce the taunt mechanic, but there aren't that many cards that use it.

In regards to a top ten, I'm not sure how I'd rank a lot of them, but I'd definitely rank "The Second Coming" as the best card of CoW.

This is just some of my reactionary thoughts on good cards from these sets
Di - My Lord and My God, Suicidial Swine Stampede, Passover Hymn, Matthew, Thaddeus, Philip, Bartholomew, Centurian (I forget which name), Balaam, Herod's Temple, Four Drachma Coin

EC- Shipwreck, Love, Meesenger of Satan, Hypocrisy, Peter, Elymas Stuck Blind, Peace, Joy, The god of this world

PC - Children of Light (has been), Christ's Triumph, Holy Grail, Music Leader, Word of Christ, Silly Women

CoW- The Second Coming, Broken Covenant, Eternal Inheritance, You Will Remain, Moses, Joshua, Angel of the Winds, Church Leaders, Confusion, Coliseum

RoJ - Three Woes, Red Dragon, Covenant of Prayer, The Ends of the Earth, Michael, The Deceiver, The Strong Angel, Angel of Wrath

FoM - yet to be determined but I think the ones we can include for sure are Babel, Wages of Sin, Leviathan, Mighty Warrior, Hope

Again this is off the top of my head with no cards in front of me

(If Goliath was the Promo released with Disciples then that is where taunt started.)

I think Peace has to be top 10 for TEC.  Back then, there were top players stating it was the best card in TEC.  I remember a T2 game against Justin where he got Cornelius + Peace turn 1 - Cornelius just kept walking on in, nothing I could do, GG   

I'd drop Evil Sacrifices and TFP from the top 10 - they were URs, but I never saw or heard of them having much impact in decks back then.

I wonder if Stoic Philosophers needs a shout-out too   

In terms of 'best' or 'most impactful at the time', I agree with Josiah on Di (minus Centurion, swap Balaam for Watchful Servant) and most of Jesse's lists with a few bolded changes (cards not really in any particular order):
