I was fairly sure Self was the only one. Unless you are also referring to Split Brigade.

Thought your list could use a few more characters added to it

In t2, could I banish an Uzzah in my discard and discard an Uzzah in my territory to keep Necromancer in battle and have protected souls?

...not sure why you'd want to do this, since it's negatable and therefore more vulnerable than blocking with Uzzah, but would it work?

Not sure if that actually does work, but I hope it works, because judean mediums can make him cbn.  ;D

Nice place for hiding previews!  ;D But why "only" those 2 old ECs as food for Necromancer?

When a card refers to itself (like Uzzah stating that you discard Uzzah) it only refers to itself, not another copy of the same card. For example, you cannot discard an opponent's Uzzah to satisfy your own. You also cannot discard an Archers of Kedar in your territory to satisfy the one you used in battle. But if you "necromancer" Archer of Kedar you don't have to discard Necromancer after battle.

Also interesting that it says "a human" not "a human Evil Character" - and since it's "a" discard pile, there's some potential fun with copying your opponent's hero abilities if they can work for you.

Absolutely! If the Medium in Endor to speak to Samuel from the dead it seems logical that this necromancer can also work with Heroes.

Interesting card, definitely has a lot of potential.  What happens if Necromancer copies a band or exchange ability though?  Would a hero fight alongside Necromancer in the case of the band or create a hero vs hero in an exchange?

I thought a card had to be in play for you to copy its ability

That's just a rarely overridden default.

I think each side of a battle has an alignment set when the battle begins, and you can only bring characters of that alignment in to that side of the battle. At least that sounds easier to trying to mention it in each ability that can bring characters in to battle.

So wait, it's ok for the copied card to not be in play sometimes and other times it has to be in play? How does this work?

Special Abilities choose where they target. If they don't specifiy, as in most cases, then you default to default conditions. Necromancer can copy the human in the discard. Therefore Necromancer is overriding the default.

That would make sense, I just couldn't find the rule. Thanks.

Wait... how exactly does this guy work with CBX?

If I copy a character who can't be interrupted, can Necromancer still be negated, negating the copy and therefore not allowing the copied ability to activate, or would he now be CBI as well?

If I band to him with Mediums to make Necromancer CBN, but copy a non-CBN/I ability, can the copied ability be negated, or is it considered his ability now and therefore CBN?

"A special ability consists of
at least one ability or modifier, and may have multiple abilities or
modifiers." REG (8). Modifiers appear to be part of special abilities, therefore it copies as part of the special ability if modifiers are special abilities.
