Is their anyone who can give me a quick walk through on how to succsesfully install lackey on my mac?

I installed Lackey about a month ago on my Mac. IIRC the app itself installs like any normal app. There's a quick video tutorial about how to add a plug in (like the one you'll need to play Redemption). If there's a specific step that you're stuck on post a detailed question and I'm sure someone will be able to help.
