Title: King Amon and King Nadab Auto Block?
Post by: Andy Herzog on April 06, 2012, 10:56:25 AM
Would this work in these steps?
#1:Discard King Jeroboam I and King Manasseh
#2:Play a gibeonite trickery on Haman or other brown evil character
#3:Block a rescue attempt with King Amon or King Nadab
#4:Recall Gibeonite trickery from DP and play to immediately end battle cannot be interrrupted or prevented

The problem is that Nadab and Ammon have such low numbers that they will lose when gib trick is played.

So does that mean that ending the battle with lower numbers than opponent will kill the evil characters

End the battle special abilities simply mean that the battle stops right there and nothing else can be played/used. The battle still moves to battle resolution where numbers are counted, compared, and an outcome is achieved based on strength v. toughness numbers. If your EC is losing the battle by numbers at that time, they would be discarded and the Hero would rescue a Lost Soul.

Gomer+Scribe+Generic Pharisee (optional, just for numbers)+Proud Pharisee (with a another Pharisee in play)+Gib Trick would probably be high enough numbers, and you could still recur Gib trick. Of course you have to be decked out for it to work…

Gold/Brown is a very good combination. Essential Enhancements are:
Haman's Plot
Gibeonite Trickery
Wonders Forgotten
Failed Objective
Swift Horses
Wicked Community
Evil Spirit (Optional)
Dungeon of Malchiah (if you use King Zedekiah)

Why use gt and WF if you have to be in a stale mate to even use it

You don't have to be in a stalemate, you just have to be within 3 points of defense to their offense. For example, if they attack a  7/7 Hero, you can block with TAS and play either WF or GT and successfully block.

Also, if you are playing Brown and Gold, Swift Horses (D deck) and Wickedness Abounds allow you to draw cards, increase your numbers, then end the battle. It's a nifty trick.

FTFY
You want to make sure that you have less cards when playing Wickedness abounds.
