I am trying to do a survey of the current state of collecting in Redemption. This is a request to everyone on here who considers themself a collector of Redemption.
If you consider yourself a collector of Redemption could you please post here details of how you collect and what you collect. This can include the regular sets/promos, error cards, variants, and collectible items. Also please include the extent of your current collection. This is for an upcoming piece of content that will be published to the community on collecting.

Hey Chad,
I would say that I am a collector, although not a "hardcore" collector. I had at one point collected every card since the FooF and RoA tins, but gave those tin cards away to those just starting off in the game about two years ago. My collections consists of all of the numbered card sets (Disciples, TxP, EC, PC, CoW, RoJ, FoM, PoC, LoC), along with all of the Legacy Rares, and UR+'s (2 complete sets of the UR+'s). I also keep single duplicates of commons, and as many duplicates for the "chase" cards (high end rares and ultra rares). I also collect all of the new card face promos (winners, seasonal, LoC promos). Lastly, I collect the National Special Promos, but do not currently have all of them (missing 2 of the 2016 winner promos, and a couple of the helpers promos). In summary, I look to obtain a single copy of every rotation card (I do not care about the classic cards), and look to collect duplicates of the high value and sought after rotation cards for trade pieces for others. I hope this helps!

I own several complete sets and I own a card with a blank face, so I suppose that counts. I also have the original players guide from the 90's.

I have been playing and collecting for about 17 years now.
I have atleast 1 copy of every classic card, I did have every variant (left fish, right fish, revered picture, colored border) still have all but the reversed fish.
As far as rotation I have 3 almost complete sets of every rotation set. Only missing a few to finish off the 3rd set.
Promos I have 1 each of classic and 3 each in rotation. Only 1 each of the nats placing, helper, top cut. Only missing SoG 2016.
I have a complete 1st print of early church and both the Cow and RoJ alt borders.
I also have a set of the white women's error and many signed cards and 1 copy of each ban card.
I also have much more then that but that is all I've kept aside for my collection. The rest I trade from and sell out of.
I may be missing something

Thank you Charles, Lampy and Cnakeeyes!
I am thankful to all of you collectors who have reached out to me with details of your collection. If any other collectors are willing to share details of their collection it would be great to have your information by Saturday evening. The piece of content on collecting will be formulated then. Thanks!

If my memory is correct, I started to collect Redemption cards just prior to the release of the Kings set. I was at that time able to get a full set of the prior sets, including the Original Limited and Unlimited A&B starter sets and the Warrior set that was already out of print. The only cards I did not get was the 1st printing of the C&D starters. I have collected all of the cards released in sets to the present. That is, up to the Lineage of Christ and I have some Gospel of Christ cards on the way. I do have multiple full sets of all Classic cards. For Rotation sets I have from one to three sets of each. Also, I have a complete set of the Early Church 1st print and the AB cards of the Cloud of Witnesses and Revelation of John.
My promo card collection consists of the older promo cards and the Participant/Tournament promo cards. I have at least one copy of each. At the moment I am looking to purchase some of the newer cards (2 seasonal, one regional, one state, and six LoC promo). Actually, waiting for the prices to come down and their availability. Please note: I chose to not collect the special National cards that have been released since 2016 due to their cost and unavailability. I have collected the National participant cards and have all of them except for 2021.
When I first started collecting cards Rob would occasionally send out "customer appreciation" gifts. These included signed cards, uncut cards, blank Redemption cards, etc. I have several of these. Also, I have one of the Original playtest cards. As a collector I have not collected/bought any of this special type of cards.

As a collector, my goal is just to have one of every playable card in both classic and rotation formate. I casually trade for full-art promo's that i think are cool. I have all classic sets finished and all rotation sets except one card in LoC, One card in PC, and a handful of cards in PoC. I do not have all the FoM LR because i traded a lot of them away before rotation happened because i didn't think i needed them ...haha jokes on me. But i will get them eventually.
For the promo's I collect them casually as the opportunity arises unless I feel like i need the card to play immediately.
I have like 15 binders I keep my cards in and when i get more then 4 copies of a card i throw it in a box to use as a proxy later when new sets come out.
