Take lots of heroes. Numbers are a good thing a lot of the time. Still grab those awesome enhancements, but make sure you have a hero to use it on. Banding is good too. FBTN is good. Good luck!

Hoard the heroes. Last booster I drafted 22 heroes and used 16 of them.

Basically what Ring Wraith said. A lot of scenarios come up in BD that you wouldn't see in normal games. For example, First Strike is very helpful, as are any banding enhancements (even ones that only band in one hero). Like most multiplayer games, try to be weighted on offense as far as deck building goes. The best defenses in BD are ones that include big numbers and banding characters.

As far as gameplay goes, if you draw a lot of LS's try to spread them out among your opponents, and save your good blocks for the person in the lead. Always attack unless you are 100% certain you can't win a LS, and even attack sometimes in those cases, especially if you have a lot fewer souls than other players.

As far as sites go, I personally don't use them often, A) because there's usually a better card to draft and B) if you place an LS in a Site, it is likely that only one or two people will have a matching Hero, and you won't be able to spread your LS's out as easily. I.E., if someone has four LS's and a white Hero, and no one else has a white Hero, you won't be able to give away your LS to a different opponent if it's in a white site, and that could cost you the game. But it's really a matter of personal preference.

Have fun! BD is always one of the most fun ways to play Redemption, as you get to see cards being used that you would never see in competitive tournament decks. Some of the craziest plays to occur at Redemption tournaments have happened during BD.
