Funniest thing I ever saw was as a judge.
One person had been using
Ship to Cyprus to great effect at the tournament, and he went in for a rescue in a later game. Gets blocked by
Leviathan. Here is how that conversation went:
Blocker: I use Leviathan! Beefcake, beefcake!
Attacker: My initiative? I'll play Ship to Cyprus. *picks up deck*
Me: *walking by* NO.
Whole table:
Me: *points to the text on Leviathan*
Attacker:
... WHAT?!
Whole table: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Then, that same tournament, same person blocks with Leviathan, which had been eating faces all game (as usual). Attacker gets very happy, and throws down
Sword of the Lord. Much rejoicing at the table is had.
The blocker's turn is next.
He throws down a second Leviathan.
Adding second story as the most annoying thing I did in booster to someone.
I had pulled the old Judges tin, and was playing at a table with someone who hated my Judges T2 offense. I attacked him with <Random Angel> (a smaller one, ability didn't matter). He blocked with a beefcake, thinking I didn't have silver support.
I only had one silver enhancement...
Three Angels. Banded both AutO and AwSN into battle, D2, brought some friends to the fight, got the judges I needed out of the deck, and his face was PRICELESS.
Fun note: The attacker in story 1 and the defender in story 2 are the same person
He gets all sorts of bad things happening to him in booster.
