No. From the REG:
Involving Music
Several Redemption® cards refer to enhancements “involving music”. Note that this may be used for Covenants cards being used as enhancements. The following cards refer to enhancements involving music:
• Asaph, Ethan, Heman, and Lamenting
The following cards involve music:
• Angel Chariots, Banner, Banner of Love, Banner of Truth (D Deck) or Banner of Truth (Priests), Battle Prayer, Bow and Arrow (Red) or Bow and Arrow (Gold), Bronze Cymbals, Cymbals of the Levites, David’s Music, Defeating the Enemy, Hind’s Feet, Hope, I Am Justice, I Am Mercy, I Am Sustainer, Jubilee, Praise Him, Moon, Praises, Protection of Angels, Refined by Fire, Rod of Iron, Sing and Praise, Sing with Stringed Instruments, Sleep, Spiritual Protection, Stillness, and The Stars

+1.
Your cards do not qualify for "involves music," as it was decided that the instrument must specifically be used for music to qualify, it doesn't just qualify because it is an instrument.

Yeah, trumpets weren't always used for music then (and still aren't today, really).

Good point :)

I think the point that is being made is that in stories like Joshua and the walls of Jericho, trumpets aren't necessarily used for actually music, just a sound/blast to signify to the Lord obdience.

I think the point that is being made is that Trumpet Blast as a musical enhancement would be overpowered, so we need a reason to say it isn't musical. ;)
