This is a random and funny post for those who want to have some laughs.
→The time has come: make haikus about your favorite cards!
☼Here are some examples:
Buckler, Coat of Mail
Protects me when I am weak
Red brigade is cool.
Poison and Bad Figs
Give me an upset stomach
I should lie down now.
Joab and Abner
Had one not stabbed the other
Might have been good friends.
Eve and Asahel
Though it's an anachronism
They are a good match.
Gabriel is cool
Michael the Archangel rocks
Silver brigade rules.

Hmm...few people are biting...
Guess I'll do a few more and hope that will elicit responses.
*Ahem*
Redemption is cool
The sword on the backs of cards
Should be on a card.
King's Daughter, Widow
Esther and other purples
Remind me of fruit.
Devourer unbent,
High in collector value,
Eat sushi for lunch.
Come on, guys...

First five syllables
Then come seven syllables
And tada! Haiku.
People should post stuff
Haikus to brighten your day
And make you smile more.
Haman's Plot is odd
If Haman worked out a lot
Would you say he's ripped?
Achan and Korah
They need to get together
And remove the game

At the garden tomb,
Four women saw the gardener,
But he was Jesus.

With the Garden Tomb,

The Red Dragon Lost
When the Blood of the Lamb won
Hate dispelled by love
The devil is sore
But love overcomes evil
Light pierces darkness
I pray: Lord, make me
An instrument of your peace
Let me sow your love.

My Haikus are good.
Some of the first ones are not,
But that's on purpose.
Read my later ones
To see my true skill in this.
I am a master.
Haikus are the shiz.
Beautiful and inspiring,
They make people smile.
Saul slew his thousands,
David slew his ten thousands,
So Saul was jealous.

When David danced before all,
In his underwear.

A master? no sir!
Your bleating prepositions
Ruin all your efforts.
Talking trash in verse,
The bloodsport of the poet,
Word to your mother.

Trash-Talking Haikus?
That's a new one. Guess I'll stop.
Bragging is pointless.
I'll still write Haikus,
As those are fun to compose.
(Beats writing in prose)

Asahel was killed,
When he kept chasing Abner.
He should have listened.
Though fast as a roe,
His sword hand was just too slow,
Thus, Abner killed him.
(Repeat of one of my earlier Haikus)
:
Joab and Abner,
Had one not stabbed the other,
Might have been good friends.

The first and third stanzas are good. A good rule of thumb when writing haikus is to imagine a Japanese Warrior-Poet reading them in an esoteric way by a waterfall and see if it fits.

Polarius, thank you so much for your advice! I will keep that in mind.
The face of God veiled,
Shone too brightly for Moses,
When he talked with God.
Moses was outraged,
When Israel turned from the Lord,
To worship a cow.
Though Israel did sin,
Moses broke the commandments,
And wrote them again.

Jonah was a man
Who disobeyed God's command
Got spit up on land
Samson was so strong
He turned away from God's song
So he was way wrong
