Details to come
Changed announcement:
Rob was able to go ahead and send Israel's Deliverance (K/L) to print. It will have two 56 card decks and the $20 price tag. So we no longer need help raising funds for that.
New "big" announcement:
Due to Rob no longer needing the funding for starters, and a lot of "field work" being done already, we are still going to have a fundraiser. We will no longer be using Kickstarter for this fundraiser. We are using a different website that we were able to build and customize based on what we wanted to offer. So the new fundraiser will have a "more storefront" feel with the items being either ala-cart or bundled ahead of time.
The "fun" news is that we are still trying to help fund Redemption. These funds raised will go towards helping create a "side set" called Roots. This will be cards from every brigade and some "support" cards as well. The goal for this set is to fill some of the gaps that currently missing within rotation. One other plan for these is to be simple yet effective. Do not expect to see a new staple card that is going to go into every deck, instead the focus will be extremely functional cards while playing booster or sealed as well as a very easy and simple way for new players to build their decks more quickly. For a small spoiler, there was a time when the LRs in the Fall of Man packaging we promised to be reprinted at some point, this is that point (with understanding that some changes will be made, like retired brigades).
For those who are interested in the numbers here is how many cards would be in Roots, and the funds needed to reach those numbers:
$9K = 112 cards
$14K = 168 cards
$18K = 224 cards
The finishing touches are being put on this project and will soon be released!
