Title: Baal Worship card - what does wording mean?

My hubby has a card  - BAAL WORSHIP.  The special ability on it says "Evil Characters may not repent this turn."  What does this mean?  He says he has another card that states that on the Victory at Hebron computer game.  I'm leaning towards that the evil character can't be converted to a hero.  Is that correct?

That is correct, the card plays as "Evil characters are protected from conversion."
