I'm a big fan of irony.  I started a thread talking about how frustrating it is that the Warriors version of Gabriel can take good enhancements out of your opponent's deck.  Others pointed out that many cards can do this - either an evil card doing a good thing or a good card doing an evil thing.  I thought it would be interesting to list some of the craziest plays you can think of, from a biblical perspective.  I don't know the cards as well as many of you, so there's probably a lot more possible, especially in side battles, that I would never think of.  Or maybe combos that work but you scratch your head and ask yourself how?  (Like women as snares example below)

Here are some I have heard already:

Warriors Gabriel takes away "Birth Foretold" from deck.  Oh the irony!

Zaccheus searches for Gates of Hell (someone else mentioned this one).

Great Faith (Womens version) is used to add Wrath of Satan to your hand.

Battle Prayer (Warriors) retrieves The Gods of Egypt.

Women as Snares captures Red Dragon?

(Need some examples of evil cards doing good things)

I believe Women as Snares specifies human, so she couldn't capture Red Dragon.

I've stuck an Eleazar's Sword on a converted philistine.

That is a little ironic if you're playing against a demon deck and capture a bunch of demons that can't be rescued.

Holy of Holies negates Moses, The Strong Angel and Captain of the Host.

I know that TECHNICALLY as far as redemption is concerned HoH is neutral, but it still represents the place where God's presence was, and its hurting several heroes, two of which are Angels (one of which may be preincarnate Jesus and the other being seen in God's presence in Heaven) and Moses was the one who watched God's presence walk by him.

Korah's Rebellion can remove Moses (if he is negated), Aaron, and Miriam from the game.

Achan's Sin can remove Joshua from the game.

Michael, with no enhancements, can be discarded in battle resolution by many evil characters, including human ones.

King Saul can be converted back to a hero again.
Joab's a hero
The most powerful offense used to be women (don't get me wrong, I'm not sexist....but the Bible sure is)
Agnostics and Buddhists can rescue souls
You can Christian Martyr a Hebrew or Angel
Warriors are bad at fighting battles
Angels vs. Demons = Demons win
FBTN is powerful, despite King David receiving a plague for counting numbers.

Blocking Job with Job's wife is 9/10 times a bad idea.

Cards that say male Hero can often target Hur.

False Peace can search for Son of God.

Confusion can get rid of Mayhem.

Then there are some abilities in Redemption that are about as appropriate and non-ironic as can be:

Lewd Men- Repel female Heroes.

Normally, it generates a lot of souls for your opponent.  It's also Pale Green, which doesn't have a very good theme attached to it.  Combine that with the initative-losing 6/7, and it's 90% of the time a free soul.  In order to play WaS, you've got to be certain that you can rescue faster over the next several turns.  That kind of risk doesn't qualify it for a slot in most top decks.

Quote
Raiders' Camp (Ki)

Type: Fortress • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: If your human Evil Character captures a Hero, place it here. When opponent makes a successful rescue attempt or battle challenge, instead of surrendering a Lost Soul, release all Heroes from here back to owner. Does not count as redeemed soul.
Raider's Camp only takes in Heroes, while Women as Snares captures Evil Characters, so it doesn't help in this scenario.
