Title: Altar of Ahaz…

…would anyone use this card? Seems like it might be handy in some situations, but it's hard to keep activated.

It was used against me in ROOT.  I was playing against a D-heavy deck and had 2 redeemed souls when it got flipped up.  I don't know if I'd use it...  Chances are SoG/NJ would already be played if you use a slow D-heavy deck.  I'd rather use an art that can hurt my opponent's offense, like Hez's Ring or CoM.

After the rule changes, I'm not sure. I was really playing around with it in T2 before the rule changes, using it to prevent a free block by my opponent (checking if they have SOG with Daniel, Cheribum, Hidden Treasures, etc).

I used it in T1 and T2 multi. More doms to mess with. Goes well with a templed Lampstand, too. ;)
The problem is that Ahaz is easy to discard, so you have to time it right.
