You guys...they were talking about the supposed animal theme. Wait till you see the Persians (cats) in the new set. You have to kill them 9 times to get rid of them.

The set will likely release at Nationals, yes. The promos generally will be available when their level of tournaments happen the season following Nationals (so the Local and District promos should be available for tournaments scheduled after Nationals, the State and Regional promos should be available next Spring).

I'm fairly certain that Rob intends to have all 4 promos available this tournament season. That means if you host/attend a State or Regional a couple months from now you will get these new promos. If you host/attend a Local or District you can obtain these promos if they are the one the host requested.

Gabe is correct.  I want to have these 4 new cards available for the remainder of this season.  I plan to send to the printer next week.  We are still contemplating the wording on Eli and Gideon's 300.  My guess is that I will have the cards available in about 4 weeks.  I will add to the tournament application between now and then.

Part of the reason I preview the cards is to get more eyes on them so that the Redemption community may help us fine tune them.  It's your game too in my eyes.  We appreciate your help.

Lastly, when I do update the tournament application I am planning to add Persecuted Church packs as a prize option.

So I heard a rumor that the new set is going to be over 100 cards. Is anyone else excited that it'll be the 3rd non-starter deck set in a row with more than 100 cards?

I cannot wait to see the new offense. I really want to see some new angel cards. Also a better magician/demons defense will be a huge benefit for me.

I really want a witch of endor reprint, and have her be able to recur evil characters! either that or a reprint of workers with familiar spirits. Or both

I realize it's hard to tell now, because the art and name both changed, but the reference is the same.

Workers is a 4/4 Pale Green Evil Character from the Prophets set. They do not have a special ability so they really aren't worth adding to any Magician deck.
