Title: Student had a heart attack

Hi Guys,
Many of you have met Kayleb Matthews at tournaments.  He was my TEAMS partner at Nats last summer in NYC.  He was also the guy who held up Nats in Ten for a couple mins due to a Taco Bell run.  He's a great guy who loves the Lord dearly and has a great personality as well as being one of our top players here in KY.

The bad news is that he had a heart attack this week, which is extremely rare for teenagers as you all know.  The good news is that we took him to the hospital and they've been able to do some good work there breaking down the blockage in his heart.  He could have died, but God has spared him.

Please pray for him as he is currently in the hospital.  He needs encouragement and patience.  Then when he returns to school, he'll be quite behind on his work.  So please pray for him to be able to catch up.  And most of all please pray that whatever caused this unusual circumstance will be resolved so that this problem does not arise again.

That is really scary that someone that young had a heart attack. Praying.

I just wanted to update this to let everyone know that Kayleb is doing greatly now.  He was in the hospital for a while and then had to go home and miss school for a while.  But then he was able to return to school and amazingly he caught up on all the work that he missed to still finish his classes on time.  Now he's home again for summer break, but I look forward to seeing him again when he returns to school.

Through all of this, Kayleb has had a terrific attitude and continues to give God glory.  We are all so thankful that God answered our prayers to heal Kayleb, and glad that we get to enjoy his presence in our lives for a while longer :)
