Hello old friends,
I just wanted to jump on and give a quick(but probably long) life update since I don't spend much time here any more.
My wife and I are doing pretty well in comparison to most others. I have a steady job at the Carey International call center and our son in almost 1 year old. We are still living with my parents but are in the process of looking at houses to buy. While we can't afford a house much more than 80,000 with the money we have saved and my low rate of pay at least we still have the opportunity to buy rather than rent.
We are very much at a time of transition because I am in the process of being considered for a children/family ministry position in Kansas while also considering moving to a "higher" position at Carey. Both of which would pay more than what I make now and would make it much easier for us to pay off Julie's school loans faster.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit would give us wisdom as we discern what is best for us and where God is leading us. Please know that I also remember you all in my prayers as I lurk the message board every couple days.
