Title: Recovery after surgery
Post by: Captain Kirk on April 29, 2010, 12:42:02 PM: After a rugby game incident over a month ago, I had ACL reconstruction surgery last night and they had to sew a torn meniscus as well. I have to keep my leg completely straight for a week and there is only an 80% chance my meniscus will heal from this. Then I have the fun 6 months of rehab. I would appreciate your prayers.

#3 - I'm glad that you aren't a one-dimensional guy for whom sports is life, and that if there is lasting damage from this injury that you have other interests in your life that you can focus on more.
