Yesterday evening, Ron and Tamara Balzer where driving there 5 year old granddaughter home to Florida after a visit with them. They saw a wreck and, from what I have heard from our church, pulled over to help. A vehicle rear ended them, and killed all three of them.
Ron was the Superintendent of the South East Conference of the Free Methodist church. I have known him and his family for about six years now. they were always willing to help people and were great at cheering people up. I know that at least in our church, whose parsonage they were staying in, will miss them very much.
Please, pray for their family. I know that they had three children, put I don't remember past that. here is a link I found to a news site reporting on it.
