*******************************
UPDATE (10/09/2011):
Praise God --- The Lord has finally taken my father away from all agony today, Oct 9th at 11:12am.
*******************************
We were by his side as his system support (after extraodinary means of care were administered since the night of Oct. 3rd) was gradually turned off and as prayers and songs of praise played from a small audio player. A couple of days ago, he had already received the Sacrament of Extreme Unction in the Roman Catholic tradition. It's so bitter and sweet at the same time to see a loved one pass but the greatest feeling is when we know that he has triumphed earthly death to finally join his Creator.
Thank you to all who have prayed by posting or in private. I am sure that Dad appreciates it.
I will always express this for a long as I live: "Dad is a father one will never regret to have had."
Peace and Blessings to one and all!

Prayers for you and yours continue Roy. Losing a parent is hard, but to know he's rejoicing with the Lord makes it a bittersweet day indeed!

Praying. He is in heaven with his name written in the Lamb's Book of Life, which is greater than any healing that could have happened. The angels are celebrating!
-
My most heartfelt thanks for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and inspiration dear brethren!
God bless bittersweetness!
Praise be to God!

Brother Roy,
We have been keeping you and your family in prayer since we heard the news of the passing of your father. We grieve with you for your loss but rejoice with you at the transition from pain to eternal peace that your Dad has entered into! In all things, to God be the glory!
Love,
Cristen and Josh
