Title: Prayer Needed for a Friend

Hey everyone,

Please pray for a dear friend of mine. Her mom has been battling breast cancer for awhile now, and she was doing okay until yesterday when she was rushed to the ER. This morning, I saw my friend's Facebook status and it said they found out her mom has now been diagnosed with brain cancer as well. Her name is Mary, and her mom's name is Linda; they go to my church. Mary has been going through a really, really rough time in all of this and she is so young to lose her mom, especially like this. Please, please pray!

Update: Sadly, Linda passed away two days before Thanksgiving. Her funeral was this morning. In addition to being the mother of Britta's friend Mary, she was also the mother of a close friend of mine (named Joe), as well as two other sons. She will be greatly missed. The family could still use prayer obviously, as could those of us who are here to support them in person.

The great part is that we know she is no longer suffering, but is walking streets of gold, talking face-to-face with the savior who she served humbly for many years.
