Let us all pray for the Christian Gamers Guild as they migrate/transition from Yahoo Groups.
I quote a Web article:
"Yahoo Groups is shutting down after more than 18 years, and the Verizon-owned company is deleting all content from the site in mid-December. 'Yahoo has made the decision to no longer allow users to upload content to the Yahoo Groups site,' the company said in a notice to users."
Let's particularly pray for Bryan R from their group who has volunteered to do all the move technicality.
Per Bryan:
"There are currently 779 groups in line ahead of this one, and the number is not going down very quickly, which has me concerned."
We pray that the move be done on time.
I remember similar but less complex issues when we had to migrate our forums from the original one before, plus dealing with the recent secure website transition (thanks to Mike).
The Christian Gamers Guild has silently inspired me to keep Redemption going especially to teach the secular gaming world its essential value to gaming in general.
May the Holy Spirit grant Bryan wisdom, discernment, and peace with the transition.
