Prayer for myself
« on: February 25, 2017, 09:07:36 AM »
Last Friday morning, the 17th, I had a heart attack.  I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and had emergency surgery.  I had a blockage in my right corollary artery and had a stent put in.  I stayed in the hospital for three days.  Now, I am home for two weeks before I can return to work.  During this time I am being monitored because of the new medications I am taking.  I am having some issues with the new blood pressure medication.  This morning I awoke very tired and short of breath.  My wife took my blood pressure and it was 80/55.  She called the doctor and he has changed my medication protocol again.  Yesterday they had dropped one of my medications.

Please pray that they can get the proper medications I need to maintain a proper blood pressure.  Today I have to continue monitoring my blood pressure because if it goes any lower and I will need to go the Emergency Room.

Thanks for the prayers in advance,
VJ

Thanks for sharing this trial with us to pray for you, VJ. I am praying for a quick and complete recovery for you. I would also recommend looking into natural & holistic remedies, as Western medicine's approach isn't always the most effective (as you're experiencing with the side effects).

God bless you!!

Eric and Jesse,

Thanks for your prayers.  I have been feeling better today.  My blood pressure has been stable all day.

Monday I go back to work.  Also, on Monday I have to go Cardiac Rehab for my orientation.  Please continue to pray that I will do well in my rehab.

Please pray for my wife.  She has to put up with me, so she definitely needs some prayer.   :)
