In uncertain financial times, whenever God shows up in the 11th hour it's a humbling and awe-inspiring experience of how finite we are and how infinite He is. For the first time in my life I had three people that wanted to hire me as an intern for the summer. After 30+ hours of searching for internships and contacting organizations and having nothing productive come of it, it was a huge relief both mentally, spiritually, and financially. Now Gretel can have a reduced workload for the summer. Today, I just learned that Gretel was offered a teaching position at a Christian school near us for about the same pay as what she is earning from working at the charter school in DC. While a great ministry opportunity, there were way too many bureaucratic and systematic issues in place for her first year, not to mention dealing with student behavior. I am so blessed and thankful that she is able to work in a nurturing environment, not only spiritually, but also professionally. So join me in proclaiming thankfulness and adoration to Jehovah-jireh!
