As many of you know, I am pastor/rabbi of a Hebraic Congregation. I have also had some short funds of late. My bible was literally falling apart. Ezekiel and Revelation was torn out and all the maps were gone. I have been looking for one for awhile but didn't have the funds to buy it, or even know where to get it.
I went by the home of one of our congregants today and the woman who rents the basement was opening a package. She pulled out several copies of the exact bible I have been looking for. I asked where she got them so I could save up and order one myself. She proceded to hand one of them to me and told me that I had better take it or she would hit me in the head with it
.
I now am the proud owner of a complete bible (New and Old Testaments) in both English and Hebrew. It was translated in Israel from the original Hebrew and Greek, into English and the NT into English and Hebrew.
I know this isn't a big deal to many of you, but I love it and thank the Father for both the Bible and the woman who gave it to me.
