Hello fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. For those who don't know, I am from Australia and was quite heavily involved on the message boards and on lackey last year, but have taken a hiatus this year to focus on my Scripture Union Internship. Just wanna say before I get into it that the new set looks awesome!
I'm 3 months into my internship and am absolutely loving it, but at the moment I'm not coping so well with everyday life as my dad was admitted into a psychiatric hospital last week, and that has caused my depression to flare up a little bit too.
It's been particularly hard on my mum, who is a primary (elementary) school teacher, and at the moment is the soul provider for our family, but also is worried about dad and constantly back and forth between home, hospital and work.
Please pray for my family now; that my dad will find hope in Jesus and will believe that he can will get better like we do; for my mum who is stressed out and carrying a lot of responsibilities on her shoulders; for my brother who is not a Christian- that he will find the Lord and give his life to Him; for my grandparents as they struggle with the thought of their son being in hospital for depression for the second or third time in his life; and for myself, that I will look to the Lord my God for His help, to rely on His strength and to not be discouraged- so that I can refocus on my internship and the ministry that God has called me to do in Him.
